Embracing Life

The Embracing Life Project began in 2006 with goal of enriching the lives of those in our community with cancer by providing weeklong trips for them and a loved one to wonderful destinations, including the a resort in the Big Island of Hawaii, an Alaskan Cruise, and a railway excursion through the Canadian Rockies, to Banff.

The week-long adventures offer a reprieve from the battle with cancer in a beautiful part of the world with their loved one, with new experiences and memories to reflect upon and cherish while moving forward in life.

It is hoped that the trips will help the winners feel lucky again, to embolden them in their fights against cancer and revitalize their commitments to embrace and enjoy life.

Because of your generosity we had the opportunity to witness what is possibly one of God’s greatest nature creations and at the same time receive quality time with each other and some much needed rest for me.
